Long before the Foundation’s annual awards gala became a signature event, Mark saw an opportunity to shine a light on the generosity of advisors and the causes they champion.
As one of Invest in Others’ founding benefactors, Mark played a pivotal role in helping turn a vision into a lasting organization. From encouraging advisors at LPL Financial’s national conference to share their stories of giving back, to helping establish the independent judging process that gave the Foundation’s awards credibility from the very beginning, his leadership helped lay the groundwork for what Invest in Others has become. His influence is woven into the Foundation’s history and its enduring mission to amplify, celebrate, and inspire the charitable work of financial advisors.
That legacy is at the heart of Mark’s selection as the 2026 Invest in Others Executive Tribute honoree. Launched in 2024, the Executive Tribute is a Board of Directors-designated award recognizing leaders who exemplify exceptional service and a deep commitment to giving back. Mark joins inaugural honoree Sanjiv Mirchandani, recognized in 2024 for his tireless support of the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, and 2025 honoree John Hyland, recognized for his longstanding support of Blood Cancer United.
While Mark’s professional career has helped transform the financial advisory industry, his connection to Invest in Others represents another important part of his legacy: a belief that success is measured not only by what we build, but by how we use our resources, leadership, and influence to help others thrive.
In Mark’s honor, 100% of the funds raised through the 2026 Executive Tribute will support Invest in Others, helping the Foundation create even greater charitable impact for financial advisors and the nonprofits they support. The Executive Tribute will culminate at the Invest in Others 20th Anniversary Awards Gala on September 17, 2026, at the Omni Boston Hotel in Boston’s Seaport District.
