Invest in Others is proud to announce Mark Casady as the 2026 Executive Tribute Honoree
All donations made up to midnight on September 16th will be matched up to the first $250,000, with the goal of raising over $500,000 in total.
Award Background
Launched in 2024, the Invest in Others Executive Tribute is a Board of Director’s designated award that recognizes leaders who exemplify exceptional service and a deep commitment to giving back.
The inaugural Executive Tribute honoree was Sanjiv Mirchandani, who retired after a distinguished 27-year career with Fidelity Investments. He was recognized for his tireless efforts to raise awareness and funds for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
In 2025, the honor was presented to John Hyland, co-founder of Private Advisor Group and former Chair of the Invest in Others Board of Directors. He was recognized for his longstanding support of Blood Cancer United, the world’s largest nonprofit dedicated to supporting blood cancer patients, a cause that is deeply personal to him.
A Career Defined by Industry Transformation
Mark Casady has made extraordinary contributions to the evolution of the financial advisory profession across two transformative chapters of modern wealth management. As Chairman and CEO of LPL Financial, he helped lay the foundation for the independent advisor movement, empowering thousands of advisors to operate independently and serve clients on their own terms. Under his leadership, LPL became a driving force behind the growth of advisor independence and the broader transformation of the industry.
Today, as Founder of Vestigo Ventures and Executive Chairman of FMG, Mark is advancing the technologies that will define the future of financial advising. His work is helping firms accelerate growth, strengthen client relationships, and navigate an increasingly technology-driven landscape. Yet professional achievement is just one part of his legacy.
A Founder Who Helped Make Our Mission Possible
Since the earliest days of the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation, Mark has been a driving force behind its growth and success. As one of the Foundation’s founding benefactors, his belief in the mission and willingness to invest in its future helped transform a bold vision into a lasting reality. His support went far beyond a financial contribution; it provided the momentum and credibility necessary to establish an organization dedicated to amplifying, celebrating, and inspiring the charitable work of financial advisors.
Mark’s vision was rooted in a simple but powerful idea: recognizing and giving back to financial advisors for the extraordinary charitable work they do. The Foundation’s name itself reflects that mission. As Mark shared the concept with his family, his daughter Maggie simply observed, “It sounds like you are investing in others.” Her words perfectly captured the purpose of the organization, and from that moment, Invest in Others became its name.
Even before the Foundation was officially launched, Mark helped introduce the concept by inviting advisors at LPL Financial’s national conference to share the charitable work they were doing in their communities. Their stories were highlighted during the conference, and the overwhelming response confirmed what Mark already believed: the financial services industry needed a way to recognize and celebrate the extraordinary generosity of financial advisors.
As the Foundation grew, Mark continued to help shape decisions that would maximize its impact. At the inaugural gala event in New York City, he championed the idea that LPL Financial, as the lead sponsor, should underwrite the event’s expenses. That decision transformed what would have been approximately $10,000 in net proceeds into nearly $400,000 available to support the Foundation’s mission, a defining moment that established a model of stewardship and generosity that continues today.
All donations made up to midnight on September 16th will be matched up to the first $250,000, with the goal of raising over $500,000 in total.

The very first awards gala in 2007
Mark also helped establish the integrity and credibility of the Foundation’s awards by working with InvestmentNews and Suzanne Siracuse to oversee the independent judging process. From the very first year, judges spoke about being deeply moved by the remarkable stories of compassion, generosity, and service demonstrated by advisors and their nonprofit partners. Their emotional response affirmed what Mark had envisioned from the beginning: that there were extraordinary stories across the profession deserving to be celebrated and shared.
Throughout Invest in Others’ history, Mark has championed the belief that financial advisors should be recognized not only for the guidance they provide clients, but also for the meaningful difference they make in the lives of others and in communities nationwide. He has generously shared his time, leadership, resources, and passion to help ensure Invest in Others’ continued growth and success.
The reach and influence of Invest in Others today are, in no small part, a reflection of Mark’s vision and dedication. The entire Invest in Others community is deeply grateful for his enduring support and for the example he continues to set through his leadership, generosity, and unwavering commitment to serving others.
A Legacy of Leadership, A Commitment to Impact
In Mark’s honor, all funds raised through this Executive Tribute will support Invest in Others, ensuring its mission will continue well beyond its 20th anniversary and empower future generations of financial advisors to create meaningful change in their communities.
The 2026 Executive Tribute, co-chaired by Jack Casady, Karl Roessner, and April Rudin, will culminate at the Invest in Others Awards Gala in Boston on September 17th, 2026. All donations made up to midnight on September 16th will be matched up to the first $250,000, with the goal of raising over $500,000 in total.
