Karl Roessner, Chief Executive Officer of Vestmark, has transformed the company from a single-solution provider into a multi-solution powerhouse serving wealth managers, asset managers, broker-dealers, and registered investment advisors. Under his leadership, Vestmark supports over $1.6 trillion in platform assets and more than 4.5 million investor accounts.
Karl brings a unique blend of Wall Street experience and fintech agility to his role. Prior to Vestmark, he served as CEO of E*TRADE Financial Corporation, where he returned billions to shareholders and led the company through strategic restructuring. He also served as CEO of Lefteris Acquisition Corporation, a fintech-focused SPAC. Earlier in his career, Karl was a partner at Clifford Chance LLP, where he led more than 100 M&A transactions.
Known for his people-powered approach to innovation, Karl is committed to empowering advisors with cutting-edge technology that delivers customized guidance at scale. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from St. John’s University School of Law and a B.B.A. in Accounting, cum laude, from Siena College.
